Consideration of Ordinance No. O-05-2024, Amending Chapter 18 - Taxation, by repealing Section 18-55 - Levying Special Assessment, and readopting same as revised, to conform with State Law. REMARKS: SECOND READING.

 

b.

Consideration of Ordinance No. O-06-2024, amending Chapter 18 - Taxation. at various sections and adopting new sections to facilitate the creation of a Townwide Stormwater and Flooding Improvement Program. REMARKS: FIRST READING.

 

c.

Consideration of Ordinance O-04-2024, by amending section 23-81(j)(4), to modify the maximum permitted fence height in the Public (P) Zoning District. REMARKS: FIRST READING

 

d.

Consideration of Resolution No. R-08-2024, adopting a non-ad valorem assessment roll for Solid Waste and Recyclables Collection.

QUASI-JUDICIAL HEARINGS:

 

a.

Consideration of a request to amend a previously approved Special Exception in accordance with Section 23-75 and Section 23-101(d)(12) of the Town of Lantana Code of Ordinances for the commercial portion of the Water Tower Commons Planned Mixed Use Development (PMXD), to accommodate modifications to the commercial site plan at 1001 W Lantana Rd (Case #: SE24-0001). Remarks: Companion items 7b and 7c.

 

b.

Consideration of a request to amend a previously approved Site Plan in accordance with Section 23-47 of the Town of Lantana Code of Ordinances for the commercial portion of the Water Tower Commons Planned Mixed Use Development (PMXD), to accommodate modifications to the commercial site plan at 1001 W Lantana Rd (Case # SP24-0001). Remarks: Companion items 7a and 7c.

 

c.

Consideration of a request to amend a previously approved Landscape Plan in accordance with Section 10.5-22 of the Town of Lantana Code of Ordinances for the commercial portion of the Water Tower Commons Planned Mixed Use Development (PMXD), to accommodate modifications to the commercial site plan at 1001 W Lantana Rd (Case # LP24-0005). Remarks: Companion items 7a and 7b.

Consideration of ratifying the emergency purchase of a new radiator for the Water Treatment Plant's (WTP's) Generator from Pantropic Power in an amount not to exceed $26,775.00.

PROCEDURES FOR PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
Any citizen is entitled to be heard on an official agenda item when the Town Council calls for public comment OR any matter not on the agenda under the “Public Comments” section. Citizens desiring to address the Town Council shall step up to the microphone at the podium, state their name and address in an audible voice for the record, and, unless the Chair grants additional time, shall limit their address to three (3) minutes. Citizens who wish to address the Council MUST complete a blue public comment card and present it to the Town Clerk before the item is discussed and wait for the Mayor to announce when it is their turn to speak. Likewise, if the public wishes to speak on a matter on the consent agenda, they must complete a blue card and present it to the Town Clerk before the start of the meeting.
